That quote occurred November 17, 1996, just about two decades ago, but the Broncos could absolutely use a repeat this Sunday.
In that game, Denver took down the Patriots 34-8 in an absolute route. They would go on to lose to Jaguars in the playoffs that season, before running off two straight championship runs in the following years.
Come on, Broncos, let’s bring in the National Guard!
