With talk of a three-way trade between the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers becoming the latest fashion in terms of Tony Romo speculation, eyes have momentarily turned away from the Denver Broncos. That being said, don’t count them out just yet.

On Friday, NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright posted about what the Broncos would be reportedly willing to offer Romo, should he be released by the Cowboys. Beat writer Clarence Hill Jr. of the Star-Telegram was quick to suggest that those terms may be amenable to the veteran quarterback.

It’s hard to see the Cowboys sending Romo to a divisional foe like the Redskins. Also, according to Hill, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hasn’t ruled out keeping Romo in Dallas next season. Still, a release might be the most likely option. If that comes to fruition, and he is willing to take a discount to chase a ring, don’t be surprised if Romo is in orange and blue next season.
