Friday, Aug. 26 marked a major milestone in the professional life of Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian. No, he wasn’t named the starter for the Broncos’ Week 1 Super Bowl rematch with the Carolina Panthers. (Although maybe he was and he’s keeping it private for now.) On the day before Siemian makes his second preseason start for the Broncos, the second-year quarterback joined Twitter.
In his bio, Siemian refers to himself as a “Florida native. Northwestern alum. Footballer for the Denver Broncos.”
At 3:35 p.m. Siemian sent out his first (and so far only) tweet…
What's up Twitter world!

He was verified less than 10 minutes later…

One follower made the comment many of us were thinking…

But mostly the feedback was positive…

Siemian’s first tweet is in the books. Does it foreshadow his first official NFL start to come on Sept. 8?
Maybe he’ll tweet about it soon.
