News broke this morning that Adrian Peterson will be undergoing surgery on his knee on Thursday, which will put him on the shelf for the next few months. As expected, the Minnesota Vikings signed a replacement option, and Denver Broncos fans are very familiar with his name.
The #Vikings signed RB Ronnie Hillman, coach Mike Zimmer said, for depth at the RB position.

Hillman was one of the Broncos final cuts this offseason, as he was beaten out by Kapri Bibbs in training camp. Still, it’s not as if Hillman isn’t an NFL running back, and it was only a matter of time before he found a new home somewhere.
Last season, Hillman led the Broncos with 863 yards rushing en route to a Super Bowl championship. We’ll see what he’s able to do with a Vikings team that’s constructed in a very similar manner to the the Broncos team Hillman played for last year.
