Von Miller just signed with the Denver Broncos for six years and $70 million guaranteed, which makes Miller the highest paid non-QB in NFL history in terms of guaranteed money.
This gets more interesting, though, when you consider Miller’s contract in the realm of Broncos history. The $70 million guaranteed to the Super Bowl 50 MVP is $25 million more than Denver ever paid current general manager John Elway, with whom Miller was in negotiations with for months trying to get a deal done.
Denver's offer to Von Miller includes $70 million guaranteed — $25 million more than Broncos paid QB John Elway during his 16 HOF seasons.

The Broncos put $39.8 million guaranteed for two years on the table in June before finally offering the $70 million to Miller yesterday.
Elway played 16 seasons in the NFL and while winning two Super Bowls and working his way into the Hall of Fame, but his contract never came close to touching what the Broncos just finalized with Miller.
It took a while, but the wait is over though, and the Broncos finally locked up their man.
