DeMarcus Ware nursed a back injury throughout training camp and is expected to see diminished snaps in 2016, but that doesn’t mean he’s not still an elite pass rusher.
In the third quarter of Thursday’s Super Bowl rematch with Carolina, Ware got to Panthers’ quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Cam Newton on a critical third down and three.

The sack moved Ware into 11th place on the all-time NFL sacks list with 135.5. He needs two more to pass Jared Allen and Julius Peppers (still active) to reach the top-10.
