Chris Harris Jr. owns the first interception of the year by Denver’s vaunted “No Fly Zone” secondary, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
With the Broncos trailing the Carolina Panthers by three points in the fourth quarter of the season opener, Harris reached in on a Cam Newton pass, tipped the ball and came down with a diving interception to give the Broncos the ball inside the Panthers 40-yard line. The Broncos would go on to score a go-ahead touchdown to take a 21-17 lead.
