To say that things haven’t gone smoothly for the Denver Broncos in the first half might be an understatement. Despite great field position, Peyton Manning and the offense have only managed three field goals, and Denver’s vaunted defense has allowed a banged-up Pittsburgh team to convert on several huge chunk plays.
But Wade Phillips, 68, clearly had the worst half of them all, taking this vicious hit from Martavis Bryant on the sideline.

With the way things have been going, Broncos fans probably feel like they were the ones to get run over by 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver.
As you’d expect, though, Wade Phillips jumped right back up as if nothing happened. Let’s just hope the Broncos rebound as well in the second half.
