Like much of Denver on Monday, our friends from 7 News – The Denver Channel (KMGH) did their best to make sense of Denver’s big loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Mile High Sports Magazine editor-in-chief Doug Ottewill joined the guys to examine just what went wrong as the Broncos gave up 24 unanswered points in the loss.
Jahmai Webster and Arran Andersen of “The Orange and Blue Review” seem to think it’s the Broncos taking their foot off the gas, while Ottewill says there’s something to be said for the lack of halftime adjustments by the coaching staff.
All three agree on one thing, though. If Brock Osweiler is suffering any kind of serious shoulder injury after he was treated during the game, the Broncos could be in a lot of trouble to even clinch a playoff spot, let alone win when the playoffs arrive, with Trevor Siemian in at quarterback.
They also play another round of Denver’s newest favorite game: “Assuming they’re healthy, who starts at quarterback?”
