Ever wonder what it would be like to see your favorite player not on the field, but in the stands next to you?
Since he can’t play in the Pro Bowl — which kicks off today at 1 p.m. MT — Phillip Lindsay was asked by The Checkdown to go undercover as a rowdy, loud Broncos fan and the result is pure gold.
Lindsay — rocking two foam fingers to cover up his surgically repaired wrist — starts chants and is even asked to sit down by someone behind him in the stands. His response? “You stand up!”

He even got pictures with his “favorite players” Chris Harris Jr. and Von Miller. At the end, Lindsay says he’s “Got my eyes on another bowl” next year.
Back to the Pro Bowl; the Broncos official Twitter account shared what Miller’s, Harris’, Lindsay’s and Casey Kreiter’s jerseys will look like later today.

Miller was arguably the best edge rusher in the NFL last year, with 14.5 sacks on 64 pressures. In fact, Pro Football Focus said he was the fourth-best edge rusher overall (90.3) and third-best in pass-rushing specifically (90.0). Miller’s also great in the run-stopping game; he’s an all-around phenom.
Harris broke his leg in Week 13, but he’s already recovered and will play this afternoon. In only 12 games, Harris was still one of the best corners in the entire league, and more specifically, the best slot corner in 2018.
Lindsay won’t be playing despite becoming a breakout sensation in 2019 with 1,037 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, adding another 231 yards and one score through the air.
And finally, Broncos’ first-ever long snapper Casey Kreiter is also involved today. He reflected on the Pro Bowl season on Mile High Sports Radio here.
The Pro Bowl kicks off at 1 p.m. MT on ESPN.
