Things have gone from bad to worse for the Denver Broncos on the injury front over the past several days, as T.J. Ward (illness) joined the list of players not practicing ahead of Denver’s trip to New Orleans. The Las Vegas lines are following that same pattern.
Since the lines opened, with New Orleans a 1.5-point favorite, bettors have been all over the Saints to the tune of a 1.5-point swing more in their favor.
The guys at 120 Sports point out Denver’s subpar showing in Oakland as a major cause Vegas has lost faith in Denver, and so have they.
Denver’s straight up record is identical to its record against the spread this season, 6-3 overall (4-1 at home and 2-2 on the road).
