This is your Colorado MMA News Weekend Preview.
Fierce Fighting Championship’s New Era event goes down on Saturday, February 15th, and two Colorado-based fighters will be making the trip West to compete.
Factory X Muay Thai’s Brian “Hollywood” Mitchell (1-1) will get back into the cage in Utah when he takes on Thomas Hughes (1-2) in a featherweight battle. Mitchell stepped in on short notice to take this fight and will be looking to get back to his winning ways while putting on a show for the Utah crowd.
Additionally, Elevation Fight Team and Easton Centennial’s Randy Rowland (4-4) will face Trever Bradshaw at 155 lbs. Rowland has won two of his last three fights and has a 100% early finish rate in his pro bouts.
Bradshaw also boasts a 100% early finish rate, all coming in the first round, so you won’t want to blink during this one.
You can watch both men by streaming the card on Fite TV, starting at 7:00 pm MST.
LFA’s return To Colorado will come on April 3rd as LFA 85 goes down at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield.
The Main Event will feature a bout between two Dana White Contender Series veterans, the undefeated Justin “J-Train” Gonzalez (10-0) of Trials MMA vs Steve Garcia Jr. (11-3) of Jackson’s MMA.
Gonzalez won his Dana White Contender series fight with a dominant unanimous decision. Garcia won at LFA 80 by 2nd round TKO.

In the main event, two undefeated fighters will throw down and compete for a championship title as Easton’s Jack Lavelle will take on Prodigy House’s David Nevarez in a light-middleweight bout.
Lavelle most recently won the USMTO SouthWest tournament, fighting and winning four times in one day to take home the C-class championship at 154 lbs. Nevarez won his last 5280 Muay Thai fight back on December 14th and was also recently invited to join the USA Muay Thai team, competing in Pattaya, Thailand later this year.
