The Denver Broncos season hasn’t exactly panned out how they’d like. Nevertheless, coming into their game Sunday against the New York Jets, there are a couple Broncos who have personal goals they could reach, including some franchise marks.
- Kicker Brandon McManus, with a make on his next field goal attempt, becomes the most accurate kicker in Broncos history (97-of-117), surpassing Matt Prater (82.9% / 150-of-181.)
- Linebacker Von Miller needs one sack to become the first player in Broncos history with six 10-sack seasons.
- Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas needs 58 yards receiving to pass Shannon Sharpe for second place on the franchise’s all-time list. Thomas also needs one receiving touchdown to pass Sharpe for second place on the franchise’s all-time list behind only Rod Smith.
The Broncos and Jets kickoff from Sports Authority Field at Mile High at 2:05pm, local time. The Broncos have won four of the last five matchups against the Jets, including two of the most recent matchups, back in 2014 and 2011. Stats courtesy of the Denver Broncos.
