The Denver Broncos were defeated by Kansas City Chiefs, 30-23 on Sunday. On Monday afternoon, safety Will Parks joined Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of (Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7) to discuss the road loss and having to play through adversity.
One of the common messages from players in the locker room has been that the Broncos keep beating themselves. Linebacker Brandon Marshall told the media that the team is better than its 3-5 record indicates, but head coach Vance Joseph essentially said that the team is what it is at this point. Parks told Goodman and Shapiro that he understands where both men are coming from.
“Personally, I think we are 3-5, and I also think that we shouldn’t be 3-5,” Parks said. “It’s evident when you play two of the top three teams in the NFL and hold them to damn near 15 points under their average.”
