Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari thanked the fans for their support this season on the Nuggets Twitter account on Monday afternoon. His contract has a $16 million player option for the 2017-18 season, and many sports pundits believe that he will opt out of his final year in the hopes of securing a max deal.

The message was one of many. As the Nuggets tweeted out similar posts from several players. “Grazie a tutti” is Italian for “thank you all.”
Gallinari led the team in scoring this past season with 18.2 points per game. He was fourth on the team in player efficiency rating at 17.4. He’s dealt with injury issues in the past couple of years, but the 63 games he’s played in this year is the most since he played in 71 in the 2012-13 season.
Gallinari has spent the last five seasons with the Nuggets after coming to Denver in the trade that sent Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks in 2011.
