The Denver Broncos offense has pressed the reset button this week, thanks to the switch to new starting quarterback Brock Osweiler.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who missed last week’s loss with an injury, is looking for a clean slate. Les Shapiro of Afternoon Drive spoke to Sanders in the Broncos’ locker room on Wednesday about the switch and Sanders believes the change will be for the better.
“It’s a new spark on this offense,” Sanders said. “It’s a new energy. I’m looking forward to it.”
Sanders also spoke about his chemistry with Osweiler, referencing his 10-catch, 181-yard outing in 2015, saying, “Me and Brock got chemistry. Playing [with him], I had the best game of my career versus Pittsburgh, two years ago.”
Sanders continued on about his hope for Osweiler and the offense moving forward.
“Brock is one of those guys — he’s going to spread the ball around; you never know where he’s going with the ball… I’m excited for him.”
