The Colorado Buffaloes (5-0) are one of 11 perfect teams in the country, and the only undefeated team remaining in the PAC-12. After Saturday’s victory over Arizona State, the Buffs cracked the top 20 in both the Associated Press poll (No.19) and the USA Today Coaches poll (No. 18). Both national polls were released Sunday.
Along with the Buffs, three other PAC-12 schools are currently ranked in the top 25. Washington leads the way (No. 7 AP/No. 7 USA Today). Oregon (17/17) and Stanford (24 USA Today) are each ranked nationally as well. Stanford also received votes in the AP rankings.
Now in the top 20 in both major polls, Colorado has an opportunity to shoot up the rankings over the next few weeks. The Buffs travel to Los Angeles this Saturday for a showdown with USC (8:30 p.m.). Then on Oct. 20, CU will face No. 7 Washington (1:30 p.m.) in Seattle.
