The Denver Nuggets didn’t handle themselves well in Game 2 and lost ugly to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
How much it matters remains to be seen. Game 2 was a matchup the Nuggets could afford to lose as long as they bring it in Game 3. The Thunder applied immense to Denver throughout the game, and the Nuggets ultimately crumbled because of it. They were affected by the physicality and perceived disparity of the foul calls. Will that happen again against an elite team? We will see.
On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn reacts to the ugly, no-good, very bad loss by the Denver Nuggets to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2. Nikola Jokic fouled out in the third quarter, but the game was over well before that. The Nuggets were down nearly 50 points at different moments, and OKC simply crushed Denver in every category. How concerning is this loss for the rest of the series?
Ryan breaks down the loss, SGA’s dominance, some issues with refs and what to expect in Game 3.
