The Denver Broncos will be represented by the foundation of the team’s roster at the Pro Bowl on Sunday.
Von Miller and Phillip Lindsay were selections from the start, before long snapper Casey Kreiter was chosen by Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn. With the Patriots reaching the Super Bowl, Chris Harris Jr. will now replace Stephon Gilmore in the secondary, according to Broncos insider Mike Klis.
Harris broke his fibula in a win over the Bengals on Dec. 2, but was not officially placed on injured reserve until three weeks later. After originally being snubbed, Harris will now be making the fourth Pro Bowl appearance of his career.
According to Pro Football Focus, Harris was sixth best cornerback in the NFL this season with an 86.0 overall grade. Since breaking into the league in 2011, Harris has been one of the most consistent cover corners in the league.
