It’s been a good week for Valor football.
On Saturday, Dylan McCaffrey, who will be playing football in Ann Arbor next season, led the Eagles to their fourth state championship in five years (they lost the other by one point to Cherry Creek), and today, his brother, Christian McCaffrey, has announced that he will be entering the 2017 NFL Draft.
After three incredible years at Stanford, I've decided to enter the 2017 NFL draft. #BlessedByTheBest

McCaffrey, who starred at Valor before becoming a national sensation and Heisman finalist at Stanford, is expected to be a first-round pick this offseason, and it’s easy to see why.
Last year, he broke Barry Sanders’ all-purpose yardage record, and this season, while his numbers didn’t stack up to last year’s (mostly due to injury), he actually averaged more yards per rush and scored more touchdowns.
In a league that values versatility more than ever, Christian McCaffrey looks to be the ideal running back for today’s game.
