The Denver Broncos enter Week 1 of the NFL season with a tough road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, and they’ll be at full strength going into Sunday’s season opener. After a long, grueling training camp, the Broncos are fully healthy and don’t have a single player on their injury report. The Seahawks, on the other hand, will be without a couple of key players.

Denver Broncos fully healthy going into Sunday’s game vs. Seattle Seahawks

Eager eyes were anticipating the release of Wednesday’s first injury report of the year earlier in the week when the Denver Broncos held their first practice of the regular season. To the surprise of many, there were no players listed on it Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday as the team enters Sunday’s non-conference showdown with former AFC West rival the Seattle Seahawks.

This is big Sean Payton and his team and is a great reflection of how impactful Beau Lowery, the team’s VP of Player Health and Performance, has been with helping players in their recovery, combined with the team’s nutritionists on staff that assist players with their macros and meals that help promote recovery.

They made it throughout all of training camp without any major injuries, minus offensive tackle Quinn Bailey, suffering a fractured ankle.

Now that the season opener is here, the Broncos are hopeful they can also make it through Sunday’s game without any injuries.

The Seahawks, on the other hand, will be without a few players, with one key player also going into Sunday’s matchup listed as questionable.

Seattle will be without tight end Pharoah Brown, who is dealing with a foot injury, and pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu, who is dealing with a knee injury. Both players have been officially ruled out.

Veteran wide receiver and one of Seattle’s best playmakers, Tyler Lockett, is questionable going into Sunday’s game with a thigh injury. The general vibe is that he’ll play, but he’ll more than likely see how he feels pregame. If he plays, he’s another impactful player who poses a threat to what the Broncos want to do defensively.

He’ll move around quite a bit, whether that’s inside the slot or on the outside. Ja’Quan McMillian and Riley Moss will likely see some coverage snaps against him, while Patrick Surtain II follows DK Metcalf.

The Denver Broncos will kick off their season on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. MT against the Seahawks.
