The Denver Broncos are banged up going into Sunday’s Week 3 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Which new players popped up on the injury report, and which injuries are worth monitoring throughout the week?

Denver Broncos have lengthy injury report on Wednesday

The Denver Broncos injury report this week is more extensive than last week’s as they prepare for two straight weeks of road games, with Sunday’s kickoff against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers serving as the first matchup.

Returning to the list from last week are wide receivers Josh Reynolds (Achilles) and rookie Devaughn Vele (ribs). Reynolds is on a maintenance plan with the training staff as he tries to manage the injury that’s been bothering him since OTAs. He participated fully in Friday’s practice last week and played in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Vele, on the other hand, did not practice at all last week and missed Sunday’s game. He returned to practice on Wednesday on a limited basis, which is a promising step in the right direction.

They were joined on the injury report by a handful of new names. Outside linebacker Baron Browning (foot), defensive end Zach Allen (shoulder), defensive end John Franklin-Myers (concussion), safety JL Skinner (ankle), safety Brandon Jones (foot), tight end Greg Dulcich (knee/ankle), and tight end Adam Trautman (shoulder).

Browning, Franklin-Myers, Skinner, and Jones were the four players who did not participate. Dulcich, Vele, Reynolds, Trautman, and Allen were all limited participants.
