The Denver Broncos might be getting the gift of a healthy report for Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, or it’s at least trending that way. As the Broncos prepare for the Bengals on Saturday, they saw several players return to practice.

Denver Broncos CB Riley Moss back at practice

For the last week and a half, Denver Broncos cornerback Riley Moss has been spotted during team stretch during the media viewing portion of practice, but all signs are pointing toward him potentially being available this week against the Bengals.

Moss was spotted at practice in team stretch, and he participated in individual drills, which is a vast improvement from a week and a half ago. He’s missed the last three games with an MCL sprain that he suffered near the end of the first half of the Broncos win against the Raiders several weeks ago.

If he returns on Saturday, it would be a welcome addition back to the secondary, with a matchup against Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins looming closer. In his absence, defensive coordinator Vance Joseph hasn’t traveled Surtain around as much, which has limited the Broncos defense against the receiving game of their opponents. Moss’s return helps them get back to that.

Denver will release their official injury report and participation status here momentarily, which will either indicate Moss as limited or full in terms of participation. We’ll release that report once it comes out.

Broncos open window on RB Tyler Badie

Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie was back at practice on Tuesday for the first time with a helmet and shoulder pads. For the last month and a half, he’s been working on the team’s side field after he suffered a scary back injury in Week 4 against the New York Jets.

The Broncos opened up his 21-day window to return off of injured reserve with two weeks remaining. He’ll practice during this window, but it remains to be seen whether or not Sean Payton will bring him back onto the active roster with these two games remaining, and Javonte Williams, Audric Estime, Jaleel McLaughlin, and Blake Watson all getting run.

McLaughlin returned to practice after missing Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers with a quad injury.

Broncos news and notes: veteran CB not spotted at practice

The only two Broncos players who were not spotted at practice on Tuesday were practice squad outside linebacker Andrew Farmer and veteran cornerback Levi Wallace. Wallace was waived on Tuesday morning, as first reported by 9News, Mike Klis.

Wallace has been inactive for two straight games following his rough showing against the Cleveland Browns a few weeks ago on Monday Night Football. Rookie cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine emerged in his place and has played well since stepping in with Moss out.

If Moss returns this week, it will be interesting to see how Denver approaches the cornerback rotation and Abrams-Draine.

Wide receiver Troy Franklin, who was spotted wearing a walking boot after Thursday Night’s game, was present at practice and suited up.

We’ll get the official injury report here shortly.
