The Denver Broncos will kick things off against the Los Angeles Chargers in under 90 minutes in an AFC West divisional showdown on the road. Which players are inactive for Sunday’s contest?
Samaje Perine will play vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Following Friday’s practice, the Denver Broncos listed running back Samaje Perine as questionable for today’s game with a knee injury. He will play today against the Chargers.
Perine has been battling a knee injury dating back to the conclusion of the Broncos’ win against the Buffalo Bills, but he hasn’t missed any time. He’s mainly been limited in practice, but him missing Friday’s practice was a new wrinkle that led to uncertainty heading into today.
Now that he’ll be active and will play against the Chargers, the Broncos move full steam ahead.
Broncos who will not play vs. Los Angeles
Here are the list of players who will not play in today’s game against the Chargers.
- Safety JL Skinner
- Running back Tyler Badie
- Tight end/fullback Nate Adkins
- Outside linebacker Ronnie Perkins
- Outside linebacker Thomas Incoom
- Center Alex Forsyth
- Defensive end Elijah Garcia
There aren’t any surprises on this list for today’s game. With Perine active, the Broncos practice squad elevation of Tyler Badie won’t be needed, which led to his inactive status.
Skinner, Forsyth, Incoom, and Garcia have been consistent gameday inactives throughout the season. With tight end Lucas Krull elevated for this week’s game, it makes sense regarding Adkins inactive status for today.
The Denver Broncos will kick things off here shortly against the Los Angeles Chargers for Week 14 of the NFL action on CBS.
