The Denver Broncos are set to kick things off here in the next 90 minutes against the Los Angeles Chargers, as Bo Nix faces Justin Herbert in an AFC West divisional showdown. Which Broncos players on the active roster will be inactive for today’s game?

Denver Broncos Week 6 inactives vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Denver Broncos have released their list of inactive players for today’s home divisional matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Prior to Sunday’s game, the Broncos announced their practice squad to gameday elevations on Saturday.

Offensive tackle Cam Fleming and interior offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton were the two choices by Sean Payton and his staff to be elevated amidst some of the injuries the team is battling. Throckmorton will back up Alex Forsyth today, who gets the start at center in place of Luke Wattenberg, who ended up on injured reserve. Fleming will serve as the backup to Garett Bolles and Matt Peart at offensive tackle in place of Alex Palczewski, who is inactive today.

Zach Wilson will be inactive and serve as the team’s defacto emergency quarterback, as he has done all season long. Joining him and Palczewski on the inactive list are cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, tight end Greg Dulcich, running back Blake Watson, and safeties JL Skinner and Keidron Smith.

Dulcich is inactive for the second straight game, with Payton looking to generate a boost and changeup at the tight end position with Lucas Krull getting some offensive looks. Abrams-Draine continues to be a gameday inactive due to the Broncos overall strength of depth at cornerback right now. Watson reverts back to inactive after being active last week for the first time of his career, due to the return of Audric Estime. Skinner and Smith being inactive is a bit of a surprise, but it appears Tanner McCalister will get playing time on special teams, and Eyioma Uwazurike will be active for the first time this season.

  • Cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine
  • Offensive tackle Alex Palczewski
  • Tight end Greg Dulcich
  • Running back Blake Watson
  • Safety Keidron Smith

Kickoff is slated for 2:05 p.m. MT, and it will air live on CBS.
