The Denver Broncos announced their list of inactive players before this morning’s kickoff against the Miami Dolphins.
Denver Broncos list of inactives vs. Miami Dolphins
With 90 minutes until kickoff, the Denver Broncos released their list of inactives for today’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Free safety and team captain Justin Simmons was ruled out on Friday after he was listed as a DNP for three consecutive days as he battles a hip injury. His presence will be missed for the Broncos defense this afternoon.
Broncos gameday inactives:
- Safety Justin Simmons
- Safety JL Skinner
- Defensive End Ronnie Perkins
- Outside linebacker Frank Clark
- Center Alex Forsyth
- Defensive lineman Elijah Garcia
JL Skinner has been a healthy scratch for the first three weeks of the NFL season and has yet to play a regular-season snap.
Ronnie Perkins is a new addition to the Broncos after they signed him off of the New England Patriots practice squad. He will be inactive for his first game as a member of the Broncos.
Frank Clark continues to recover from a hip injury that has held him out of action for the past two weeks. His timeline was week to week, and he could return next week against the Chicago Bears.
Alex Forsyth is a healthy scratch for the third consecutive week. He has yet to play a regular-season snap.
After playing in Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders, Elijah Garcia is a healthy scratch for the second consecutive week.
Considering the Dolphins spread offense, it makes sense that Garcia isn’t up this week as Denver looks to maximize how many skill players they have for today’s game.
