The Denver Broncos have announced their list of inactive players ahead of tonight’s Christmas Eve showdown against the Grinch Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. Which players will not play tonight against New England?
Denver Broncos inactive players vs. New England Patriots
The Broncos and Patriots are set to kick off in just under 90 minutes at Empower Field at Mile High for a Christmas Eve showdown in chilly Denver, Colorado. Here is their official list of inactive players who will not dress out tonight.
- Safety JL Skinner
- Center Alex Forsyth
- Defensive lineman Elijah Garcia
- Outside linebacker Nik Bonitto
- Outside linebacker Thomas Incoom
- Quarterback Ben DiNucci
- Tight end/fullback Nate Adkins
Bonitto was ruled out on Friday with an MCL injury, but there is optimism that he returns to practice at some point this upcoming week. Outside linebacker Thomas Incoom will see some snaps on Sunday in his place.
For the Patriots, they already ruled out tight end Hunter Henry and placed offensive tackle Conor McDermott on injured reserve. On Friday, they also ruled out safety Jabrill Peppers, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
New England will be undermanned at some of their more crucial skill player positions, which should give the Broncos an advantage here on Christmas Eve on what’s expected to be a frigid night, with it projecting to be 26 degrees at kickoff.
The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots will kick things off here at 6:15 p.m. MT on the NFL Network for fans unable to attend the game. For post-game coverage, stay tuned here at Mile High Sports after the game.
