The Denver Broncos will kick off against the Washington Commanders in under 90 minutes. Which players will be inactive when all the action kicks off at 2:25 p.m. MT?
Denver Broncos inactives vs. Washington Commanders
The Broncos announced their list of inactive players against the Washington Commanders for Sunday’s matchup.
Inactives vs. Washington:
- Cornerback Riley Moss
- Defensive lineman Elijah Garcia
- Safety JL Skinner
- Center Alex Forsyth
- Outside linebacker Frank Clark
Moss made significant progress this week during practice and was a full participant on Thursday and Friday. After being inactive last week, it appears that cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian will be active at cornerback.
Garcia was active last week against the Las Vegas Raiders, with the team’s gameplan set on stopping Josh Jacobs in the run game. He had two tackles last Sunday.
Skinner is inactive for the second consecutive week as a healthy scratch. Even with safety Caden Sterns landing on injured reserve this past week, Skinner has yet to get his first NFL snap in the regular season.
Forsyth is also a health scratch for the second consecutive week and has yet to play a single snap in the NFL regular season.
As reported earlier in the week, Clark will miss at least the next several weeks with a hip injury.
With Clark out, the Broncos outside linebacker rotation will feature Jonathon Cooper, Randy Gregory, Nik Bonitto, and Thomas Incoom. Clark’s injury could also open up the door for rookie linebacker Drew Sanders to find his way onto the field in special personnel packages.
Tight end Greg Dulcich was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, and running back Dwayne Washington was elevated to the active roster.
