Heading into their bye week, the Denver Broncos were battered and broken; that’s what happens when your bye week comes nearly three quarters of the way through your season.
C.J. Anderson was already on the shelf for the foreseeable future and it had been nearly a month since anyone had seen Aqib Talib in action.
But with an extra week off to rest, the Broncos look to be ready to attack the homestretch at full health — or, at least, as close as you can be in the NFL.
Aqib Talib, Derek Wolfe, Trevor Siemian all practicing. Great news for #Broncos on injury front. Expecting to get Talib/Wolfe back Sunday.

Obviously, getting Talib back will be huge, and the fact that Derek Wolfe will only end up missing a game is a blessing.
Trevor Siemian has been “healthy” the last few weeks, but he and Gary Kubiak made it clear following the Broncos’ victory over the Saints that he was still dealing with shoulder soreness.
If that has truly been affecting his play, the extra week of rest could go a long way towards improving the Broncos offense.
Heck, there have even been reports that Anderson may make a return to the field before the end of the season, which would be great news for Denver.
Injuries can derail even the best teams in the NFL, so the healthier the Broncos can remain, the better their chances are of repeating as champs.
