The offseason blues are here for the Denver Broncos and for Broncos Country, but that doesn’t mean the mailbag closes. Broncos Country sent in their burning questions in our latest mailbag installment.

If the Denver Broncos can attain a sure-handed vet like Cooper Kupp or Deebo Samuel, wouldn’t we accelerate Bo Nix’s development? The Bills helped Josh Allen by getting Stefon Diggs, who wasn’t around for 10 years but it helped Josh Allen become Josh Allen. – newtype_jk47 on Twitter.

Adding a player like Cooper Kupp or Deebo Samuel would definitely give Bo Nix and the Broncos offense a boost in 2025. Having some weapons like that certainly make a sophomore slump less likely, but which player would be the best fit in Sean Payton’s offense? Deebo would be a Joker type player, regarding how Payton would likely use him, while Kupp is a great perimeter blocker and route runner.

Anybody saying Kupp has fallen off or can’t be an effective route runner anymore should watch the All-22 on him, especially in November and December’s games. Kupp is a possession guy and somebody who can consistently move the chains and be a sure-handed option, while Deebo would increase the level of explosiveness on the offensive side of the ball. Either option would be great to add, in my opinion.

Can you see Denver move up in the first round for a premiere RB? – Rick on Twitter.

Hey Rick, I just don’t see Sean Payton or George Paton trading up to get a running back, considering the devaluation of the position that we’ve seen over the course of the last three or four years. Someone like Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty would be the ideal RB choice for Denver, but he’s got over 750 carries in three years and has played over 830 snaps in three seasons.

Moving up to draft a running back isn’t an appealing move and doesn’t seem like one that would be worth doing, considering the Broncos and Payton could add a back later on in the draft.

Which players from the Eagles are you looking to sign? – DenverDMarq on Twitter.

The hot candidate from the Eagles in free agency would likely be Zach Baun, but at this point I’m not sure he’s planning on leaving Philadelphia after winning the Super Bowl. On top of that, he saw a career year under Vic Fangio who appears like he’ll be staying and coaching again in 2025.

Who is the best option in FA for ILB? – Karsen on Twitter.

Zach Baun is one of the top names that Broncos Country has expressed as an offseason signing they’d like. While he’d be the type of player the Broncos need at linebacker, I’d be shocked if he leaves the Eagles. Devin Bush would be an under-the-radar name to watch for, as would Nick Bolton or Willie Gay Jr. Those would be the ideal names to watch for in terms of being ideal fits for Denver’s defense.

Should the Broncos first two picks in the Draft be on defense because the TEs and RBs in the 3rd and 4th rounds are not that much different after Loveland and Johnson? – Wes on Twitter.

So much of the Broncos’ draft strategy or focus will be dependent upon how they approach NFL Free Agency next month. They might add to the defense in free agency, but them going offense in the first round seems like the most likely path Payton and Paton will take. There are a lot of talented offensive players in this year’s draft, and if it ends up adding immediate value to the Broncos offense and Bo Nix, it makes the most sense.

Depending on what the Broncos decide to do with D.J. Jones, if he does not return, I could see the Broncos going defensive tackle in the first round.
