Denver Broncos preseason schedule finalized by NFL
The Denver Broncos will travel for one road game and host two home preseason games in just about two months from now, as their preseason schedule was officially finalized by the league office this morning.
To kick off the preseason action, the Broncos will play on the road against the Indianapolis Colts on August 11 with an 11:00 a.m. MT kickoff.
Not only will the Broncos play the Colts in the preseason, but they’ll also host them in Denver for a regular season matchup in Week 15. We’ll get our first look at Bo Nix vs. Anthony Richardson as a potential preview of the regular season battle between two young QBs if Nix wins the starting job.
Week 2 of the NFL preseason will see the Broncos host the Green Bay Packers on August 18 with a 6:00 p.m. MT kickoff at Empower Field at Mile High.
Denver’s matchup against the Packers will come directly off the heels of hosting Green Bay for joint training camp practices during the week leading up to kickoff. Joint practices will be held at Broncos Park powered by CommonSpirit with dates still to be announced once Denver’s training camp schedule is finalized.
Starters will likely play a few series in the first two games of the preseason.
To finalize the Broncos preseason schedule, they’ll host the Arizona Cardinals on August 25 for a 2:30 p.m. MT kickoff.
More than likely, the Broncos starters won’t be playing in this game, and we’ll get an in-depth look at some of the young players who are vying for a spot on the 53-man roster in a final audition before the team has to make roster cuts.
