The week of the NFL Draft contains nothing but buzz, rumors, smokescreen, and the Denver Broncos are one of the teams that have been heavily talked about in the buildup to tonight’s pick.

Denver Broncos officially on the clock for today’s NFL Draft

As it stands this morning, the Denver Broncos will pick 20th in tonight’s NFL Draft, which begins at 6:00 p.m. MT. I’ll be on site at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit, where we’ll provide instant coverage of the draft as it’s taking place, and we’ll hear from Broncos head coach Sean Payton and GM George Paton following the final pick of the night.

ICYMI: Broncos have flexibility with 20th overall pick in draft

This morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Broncos have fielded calls from various teams who are looking to move up to the 20th overall pick, indicating that if Denver made a move, they would likely trade back and add additional draft capital.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a team to watch with buzz circulating around Shedeur Sanders falling to them with the 21st overall pick, but jumping up one spot to 20 doesn’t make sense unless there’s a team behind the Steelers who might want to land the former CU Buffs quarterback — but that doesn’t appear likely except for the Los Angeles Rams, who pick 26th overall.

Various mock drafts from national analysts have dropped in the last 24 hours, and the split makes it seem like nobody truly knows where the Broncos are going to go, and that’s not a bad thing.

ESPN’s Peter Schrager and NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein have them taking Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka at 20th overall, while Daniel Jeremiah has them trading up to the 13th overall pick to take Michigan tight end Colston Loveland.

I’ve got the Broncos landing Egbuka or TreVeyon Henderson. Our good friend Troy Renck, who hosts his Broncos podcast on Mile High Sports YouTube channel is on the same page as me, with his belief leaning towards Egbuka or Henderson.

Anything is on the table for the Broncos without them having to draft based on a glaring need — they can add a player who will have an immediate impact and value wherever it may be, including defensive tackle as a first-round possibility.

Buckle up, Broncos Country!
