For the second week in a row, the Denver Broncos will not have second-year pass rusher Jonah Elliss on Sunday as they take on the New York Giants.
Elliss is dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered in the Broncos’ Week 5 win against the Philadelphia Eagles, where he finished the game, but missed Denver’s Week 6 matchup against the New York Jets.
This means that rookie outside backer Que Robinson will likely get some more reps alongside Dondrea Tillman this week, behind Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper, similar to how he did in Week 6.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw was listed as a full participant, and his official game status for Sunday is questionable. We should find out on Saturday if Greenlaw is playing because the Broncos will have to make a roster move to free up space to move him from injured reserve to the active roster.
If he ends up playing on Sunday, he would likely be on a pitch count, as Broncos DC Vance Joseph mentioned during his press conference on Thursday.
Cooper (quad) upgraded from being limited to being a full participant during Friday’s practice. Inside linebacker Alex Singleton (thumb) and Nik Bonitto (wrist) continued to be full participants all week long.
Denver Broncos Friday Practice Report and Game Status vs. New York Giants

Sunday’s game will be a fun one, but should be better if Greenlaw makes his debut.
