The Denver Broncos had one of the better 2018 draft classes., but they are still left with an overflowing amount of questions to answer throughout the rest of the roster.
Where will the production at running back come from?
How will the ‘no-fly-zone’ produce with the loss of Aqib Talib?
Can Denver get back to sacking the quarterback after being 22nd in sacks last year?
How will Case Keenum produce as the next starting quarterback for the Broncos?
That just scratches the surface of questions that Vance Joseph needs to find an answer to prior to the start of the 2018-19 NFL season and, because of those concerns, ESPN’s first NFL power rankings since the 2018 draft have Denver ranked 21st of the 32 NFL teams. The Broncos also sit behind every team in the AFC West as well. The Kansas City Chiefs (10th), Los Angeles Chargers (12th), and Oakland Raiders (19th) are all looked at as better football teams than where the Broncos are currently at according to ESPN.
There is still a lot of work to do to transform Denver into a legitimate contender and that is not unknown to the Broncos’ organization. It will be an uphill battle to return to the playoffs, but the Broncos have the means to reach the summit of such a climb.
