After the Denver Broncos wrapped up Thursday’s practice, it’s looking more and more likely that J.K. Dobbins doesn’t play on Sunday when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in a high-stakes AFC West matchup.
Denver took the practice field for the second time this week on Thursday, and Dobbins, Patrick Surtain II, Jonah Elliss, and Alex Singleton were not spotted on the field.
Tight end Nate Adkins was present for team stretch as he continues to battle a knee injury, but left for the side field after stretch and was listed as a DNP on Thursday. It’s unlikely that he, Dobbins, Surtain, and Elliss will play on Sunday.
Singleton will miss the next handful of weeks as he continues to recover from surgery following being diagnosed with testicular cancer last week.
Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers was spotted during practice today without a helmet as he deals with a back injury. Thursday was the first day he popped up on the injury report, and his participation status was limited.
Jonathon Cooper (thumb), Trent Sherfield (toe), Marvin Mims (concussion), and Garret Wallow (hamstring) were all full participants.
