Denver Broncos Week 2 inactives vs. Indianapolis Colts
This week’s list of inactive players looks very similar to the Denver Broncos’ approach in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans.
Sam Ehlinger, who was promoted last week to the 53-man roster after the team placed defensive lineman Malcolm Roach on short-term injured reserve, will dress today but serve that emergency quarterback role as an inactive player, just in case.
For the second week in a row, Jaleel McLaughlin is inactive in favor of Tyler Badie, who Sean Payton said this week there would be a pass protection element that’s needed against the exotic looks the Colts defense throws at opposing offenses.
Dre Greenlaw and Nate Adkins were ruled out on Friday as they continue to work their way back from their respective injuries.
Offensive tackle Frank Crum was a healthy scratch last week, and that trend continues here today.
The same thing goes for Broncos’ rookies Que Robinson and Sai’vion Jones.
