The Denver Broncos will be without one of their young key pass rushers in Sunday’s international showdown against the New York Jets.

Jonah Elliss will not play on Sunday after missing practice all week long with a rib and shoulder injury that he suffered in the Broncos’ win against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Elliss has been instrumental for the Broncos pass rush rotation behind Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper and for Darren Rizzi’s special teams as a core four player.

Rookie outside linebacker Que Robinson is expected to make his season debut on Sunday with Elliss’ injury holding him out of action, where he’ll likely play on special teams and rotate in alongside Dondrea Tillman.

Defensive tackle Malcolm Roach was a full participant for the second day in a row and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, where he could make his season debut.

In order for that to happen, the Broncos would likely place Ben Powers on injured reserve officially, and then Roach would come off of IR onto the active roster. Earlier this week, the Broncos activated Roach’s 21-day window.

Everybody else that was listed this week on the Broncos injury report is good to go and will play against the Jets.
