In Week 2 of the NFL Preseason, the Denver Broncos will host the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, Aug. 16th with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. MT. After playing the Cardinals in their preseason finale last year, they’ll face them once again in the Mile High City.
ICYMI: Broncos approach to their running back rotation is crucial for Sean Payton
Leading up to their game, the Broncos and Cardinals will also conduct a joint training camp practice on Aug. 14th. Details on training camp are not available yet for the standard public, but that information will come at a later date.
Last year, the Broncos conducted a joint practice with the Green Bay Packers ahead of their preseason game. They held a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams in Denver in head coach Sean Payton’s first year.
Despite ongoing construction at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit, Payton and the Broncos want to stay in Denver as they prepare for the 2025 season.
“We have it here,” Payton said. “I like our set up and our routine. I like the fields, the facilities and the meeting space. In one year—give or take—in May, we’ll be moving over there. So I don’t want to move to a … How much does it cost? $175 million facility, and then ask to go to Maui to practice.”
Denver’s matchup against the Cardinals will be broadcast on 9News and the NFL Network as well as radio broadcast on the Broncos’ flagship station, KOA.
