The Denver Broncos are set to kick things off in just under 90 minutes against the Los Angeles Chargers in the biggest game of the last nine years. A win means that the Broncos would be heading to the playoffs for the first time since the 2015 season and would end a drought that has impacted the joy of Broncos fans for years.
Which players are active, and which players are inactive?
Denver Broncos release inactives for Thursday Night Football
The Denver Broncos have released their list of inactive players for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
Cornerback Riley Moss will miss his third straight game and was initially ruled out on Wednesday for tonight’s game. He’s making good progress in his return from an MCL injury and upgraded this week to being limited instead of DNP.
Joining Moss on the inactive list due to injury is running back Jaleel McLaughlin. He suffered a quad injury in the Broncos’ win on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts and did not return. This means that Javonte Williams and rookie Audric Estime will see an increased workload tonight.
Denver elevated defensive lineman Matt Henningsen and running back Blake Watson from the practice squad for tonight’s game, who will contribute to the depth of their respective positions.
Cornerback Levi Wallace, quarterback Zach Wilson, Henningsen, offensive lineman Frank Crum, and inside linebacker Levelle Bailey will be healthy scratches for tonight’s game.
Denver is expected to use both rookie cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine and third-year corner Damarri Mathis opposite of Patrick Surtain II tonight.
