The Denver Broncos last hope for an NFL Playoff spot in the AFC hinges upon how they come out in the next 90 minutes against the Kansas City Chiefs. Prior to kickoff, the Broncos have announced their list of inactive players for today’s game.

Denver Broncos Week 18 inactives vs. Chiefs

The only players who have been ruled out and inactive for today’s game on the active roster due to injury or illness have been offensive tackle Frank Crum and running back Tyler Badie.

Crum has been battling an illness all week long and has not practiced, leading to him being ruled out. Badie was a full participant at practice this week, but from a roster standpoint, with Denver being fully healthy, they did not activate him off of injured reserve, which leads to his inactive status.

If Denver wanted to activate Badie, they would have had to release somebody who was on the active roster to make way for his spot.

For your regular weekly inactives, quarterback Zach Wilson will be the team’s third QB with an emergency designation. Running back Blake Watson will be inactive for this game alongside defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike, and inside linebacker Levelle Bailey.

These four players have been inactive for the last handful of weeks and that trend continues today. Defensive lineman Matt Henningsen was elevated on Saturday from the team’s practice squad but will be inactive for today’s game once again.
