The Denver Broncos had a clean injury report all week long as they prepared for their matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. After Saturday’s final practice, wide receiver Marvin Mims popped up on the injury report.
Denver Broncos list WR Marvin Mims as questionable
Saturday’s practice for the Denver Broncos was the final one of the week ahead of their Monday Night showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Following practice, the team released their final injury report for Monday’s game, and wide receiver Marvin Mims popped up on the report with a hip injury that limited him in practice. The team officially listed him as questionable.
We did not see Mims in the locker room after practice, but this is something to monitor as Monday approaches. So far this season, Mims has only been targeted 10 total times through three games, hauling in six catches for 40 yards and a touchdown.
He hasn’t been featured enough and is an important piece for a Broncos’ offense that has been struggling to find their identity.
In the event Mims can’t go on Monday Night, we’d likely see more of rookie wideout Pat Bryant, who has been impactful in the small sample size of reps he’s had so far this regular season. Mims would also be a difficult player to replace in the special teams game, particularly at punt returner, where Riley Moss is listed as the backup punt returner.
Other than Mims, everybody is ready to go for Sunday’s game, and we’ll monitor his status during pregame.
