The Denver Broncos were back on the field as they entrenched themselves further in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant did not participate, however.
Denver Broncos WR Pat Bryant misses Wednesday’s practice
As the Broncos took the field for Wednesday’s practice, Pat Bryant headed off to the side field during the media viewing portion of practice. He was the only player we saw go to the side field as the team went into group stretch.
We’ll find out here shortly once the official practice report for Wednesday releases, but it’s likely that he will be a DNP. It’s worth noting that Bryant suffered a hamstring injury last week during practice, but he still played in Sunday’s win against the Las Vegas Raiders, hauling in all four targets for 32 yards.
Bryant played 35 snaps, which was the highest snap total at wide receiver behind Courtland Sutton, who played 48 snaps against the Raiders. It’s clear that he’s seen an increase in snaps and targets over the course of the last three weeks as he’s established himself more and more with Bo Nix and has earned more trust from head coach Sean Payton.
We’ll see if he returns to practice on Thursday.
