It took three weeks of waiting, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In this case, the longer you wait the better the outcome. The Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos now have a player on the NFL’s “Top 100 Players of 2016.”
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders came in at No. 74 – the first Bronco to be honored on the list and up 21 spots from his position last year.
As voted by the players…

Sanders ranked higher than five other wide receivers on the list, including Julian Edelman (87) and Sammy Watkins (96).
In 2015, Sanders recorded his second consecutive 1,000-yard season and logged the best yards per reception of his career at 14.9.
His total yards and receptions were down compared to 2015, but NFL players who helped pick the list certainly understand Sanders’ value to his team last season.
