Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning may have just lost “it”, or most of “it”, overnight.
At least, that’s what one former All Pro told Eric Goodman and Zach Fogg Tuesday on Mile High Sports Radio (AM 1340).
Three time Pro Bowler Chad Brown joined the fellas on Afternoon Drive and offered thoughts on a variety of topics, including Manning. While Brown thinks Manning still may have good spurts here and there, for the most part he says, the QB is declining rapidly.
“Unfortunately, when you’re an older player it’s not a gradual thing. You just don’t slide for a couple of years. You literally just slide off the cliff. One day you can play and the next day you can’t,” Brown said Tuesday.
The whole interview is worth your time as Brown played the game for 15 years at a very high level and offers excellent insight. The Manning talk starts at the 2:25 mark.
