Dinwiddie was drafted by the Pistons in the second round of the 2014 NBA draft. He had a short stint in the D-League before making his NBA debut in October of 2014. He would play in 34 games that year and averaged 4.8 points per game. In the 2015-2016 season, he spent a considerable amount of time in the D-League and dealt with injuries all year long which resulted in his playing time being cut in half.
Dinwiddie is excited to join the Bulls and get a fresh start with a new team as he expressed on his twitter page.
I’m extremely excited to start this new chapter and be a part of the Bulls organization!!

Dinwiddie also wanted to thank Pistons fans.
I also wanna thank the fans, and the city of Detroit for the support and embracing me as one of their own..
