Higgins is the only player from a non-major conference to earn first-team honors. KD Cannon of Baylor was selected as the other first-team wideout.
Through just two seasons Higgins currently sits 5th all-time in receptions and yards for Colorado State and holds the school record for touchdowns with 23 and counting.
Higgins has also been named to numerous all-MWC preseason rosters recently, as well as earning first-team honors on Phil Steele’s 2015 Preseason All-American Team.
