The Denver Broncos head back out on the road Thursday to play the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football.
To discuss the Broncos-Colts matchup and the potential future of Andrew Luck in Indianapolis, WTHR’s Bob Kravitz joined Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7 to discuss that very topic.
“If I’m Andrew Luck, that’s not something I want to hear from my team’s owner, when I’ve got my brains beat in, and have been hit more times than any quarterback since 2012,” Kravitz said, regarding denigrating comments made by owner Jim Irsay that risk opening a rift between Luck and the Colts.
“Here’s the only thing I could see happening: I could see him retiring,” Kravitz said.
“I know that sounds crazy — Andrew is a bit of a Renaissance guy, he’s into a lot of different things. I think there’s a one percent chance he could say, ‘You know, it’s not really worth it with the CTE concerns and everything else, but I think that’s a real long shot.'”
