The Denver Broncos offensive minds have been finalized with the hiring of Mike Shula.
He joins Pat Shurmur in the offensive room with quarterback Drew Lock tasked to bringing the Broncos offense out of the ashes and into the winning ways Denver fans have begun to forget since the Super Bowl win in 2015.
Lock’s progress is arguably the most important topic on their whiteboard. Ensuring the young signal-caller makes the jump to year two and not only becomes the leader of the offense, but the guiding light towards a potential postseason run down the line.
On the latest Broncos Blitz podcast host Ronnie Kohrt goes over the Shurmur and Shula combo. How good will they be for the Broncos and what will they bring?
Kohrt also discusses how the offensive attack will change and which positions may gain/ lose value with the Shurmur / Shula combo.
