Yesterday was dumb, and Denver Nuggets fans are frustrated.
In the newest Pickaxe and Roll Episode, Ryan Blackburn and Swipa react to yesterday’s Denver Nuggets win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Joel Embiid was a late scratch on the injury report, and Nuggets fans were incredibly disappointed not to see the big man play despite being active 20 minutes before the game.
Ryan and Swipa go over what happened in the arena, why the Sixers organization should be embarrassed, and what could happen in the coming days. Nuggets head coach Michael Malone was not happy about the situation and said he expects the league will investigate what happened leading up to Embiid’s late scratch.
Ryan and Swipa also react to the Nuggets winning an ugly game, including another impressive performance from Peyton Watson. Watson could be heading to the Rising Stars game over All-Star Weekend if he continues putting on a show. Ryan and Swipa also go over next week and what to expect from Denver’s upcoming schedule.
