Universities across the country continue to push the boundaries on football uniforms, and Air Force is no different.
On Sunday, the school unveiled their new “Sharktooth” helmet on Twitter.

If you’re wondering what a shark has to do with the Air Force Falcons, the helmet is an homage to the nose art flown by the Flying Tigers on their P-40 fighter jets used during WWII.
Earlier in the weekend, Jim Knowlton, Air Force’s athletic director, tweeted out this photo of the full uniform.

According to Joe Nguyen of the Denver Post, Air Force will wear the photos on September 10 against Georgia State.
